'Idiocracy' Director Mike Judge Takes On The Startup Scene in the Trailer For HBO Comedy 'Silicon Valley'
"King of the Hill" creator and "Idiocracy" director Mike Judge returns to television on April 6th with his new HBO comedy "Silicon Valley," a skewering of the tech world starring Thomas Middleditch, T. J. Miller, Zach Woods, Kumail Nanjiani and Martin Starr. Judge unforgettably satirized life at a '90s software company in his cult favorite "Office Space," and the contemporary Bay Area startup scene, with its programmers turned billionaires, dormlike incubators and highly valued companies based around incomprehensible or seemingly frivolous products, promises to provide ripe material for his new series. HBO just released the first full-length trailer for the comedy, which will have its world premiere in the inaugural Episodic section of the SXSW Film Festival next month.
