Claire Holt: Sizzles in Glamoholic Magazine

Claire Holt Sizzles in First Photoshoot Since Leaving The Originals: “I’m Just So Grateful I Can Pay My Bills”

We were heartbroken when we heard the news Claire Holt had suddenly been written out of The Originals, but by the sound of things, she won’t be holding a grudge. The 25-year-old actress is nothing but grateful for her time on the show, saying she’s been “a little spoiled.”Unfortunately, the time has come for Claire to move on to other things, but she’s actually excited about what the future holds. “I would love to continue to challenge myself by trying different things,” she reveals in the latest issue of Glamoholic magazine. “Action, drama, comedy... I would be grateful to do any and all of it if someone is kind enough to hire me!”

Years of auditioning and rejection have helped Claire to learn not to take these kinds of things too personally. “You have to develop a thick skin and move on to the next thing,” she continues. “I’m just so grateful that I’m a working actor and can pay my bills.”

We’re sure that whatever role Claire decides to take on next will be nothing short of spectacular. Until then, click through our gallery to see the Aussie’s stunning photos, then head on over to Glamoholic.com to read the full interview!

This is a mini-mystery for me. Why did Claire quit? Australian actors are very much dependable and hard workers but at the same time easy going - traits shared with Americans. One of the reasons they're so much in demand and desired by US producers. It's usually personal when someone exit a show. My take: Ms. Holt landed a plum role in a movie or more likely she's optioned for a key part on an upcoming TV-series. Fingers crossed it's something by HBO or some other premium cablers.
