Haunted by memories of her long dead brother, Rebeca (Jackie Parker), a young woman living in San Francisco, embarks on a quest in which she discovers her sexual identity is a tissue of lies created by her parents and doctors. Both explores issues around intersexuality, a condition occurring in roughly one out of every 2,000 births who are "cured" without informed consent through invasive surgery and hormonal treatments.
San Francisco stuntwoman Rebecca (Jackie Parker) is friendly but a little remote both on the set and in her private life. Latest affairs with an actress (Nicole Wilder) and male mechanic (J.D. Brumback) suggest she runs whenever people get too close.
