Jessica Parker Kennedy in season finale of Black Sails [S1E8]
Black Sails has been a huge disappointment in nudity department. JPK did bulk of it, Hannah appeared quite reluctant and Clara Paget somehow avoided it altogether. Shame on you, STARZ! All those unknown South African models/extras walking around naked don’t fill in the void of the main girls.
I believe this is the first time in STARZ history a character with nudity requirement managed to avoid even a booty show in S1.
I've been reassured by my STARZ source that Ms. Paget nudity was optioned for S2 seeing her character barely had any proper screen time this season befitting a lead. It would be unfair to the actress.
More and more writers (with cablers grudging consent) are starting this 'forward' the nudity to next season trend. Amelia Rose Blaire is scheduled for one in True Blood 7. Caitlin FitzGerald in S2 of Masters of Sex. Some of the regulars in S2 of Orange Is The New Black.
Advance apologies if all of it doesn't come to fruition, guys. I also beg for forgiveness for Claire's lack of T-and-A when I'd promised otherwise.
