Haley Webb Join Indie 'Sugar Mountain'

Drew Roy, Haley Webb and Shane Coffey also have been added to the dark comedy/thriller.

Dark comedy/thriller Sugar Mountain has locked in its cast, featuring Cary Elwes, Jason Momoa, Drew Roy, Haley Webb and Shane Coffey.

The film, which will be directed by Richard Gray (Lookalike), will begin shooting soon in Alaska.

The Yellow Brick Films project is described as as a dark comedy/thriller about "love, greed, family and a hoax that goes terribly wrong."

"We're so excited to have such a tremendous cast onboard," said Gray. "Sugar Mountain is a compelling screenplay, which was originally set in Australia, but we found the perfect location in Alaska and writer Abe Pogos did a brilliant job in adapting. I don't think I've been to a more stunning and brutal place, which is perfect for this story. I adore these actors and can't wait to start shooting."

Elwes' previous films include The Princess Bride, Robin Hood: Men in Tights and Quest for Camelot. He's repped by APA, Kritzer Levine Wilkins Griffin Nilon Entertainment and Hansen, Jacobson.

Roy has starred on TV's Hannah Montana and Falling Skies. He's repped by UTA, Sanders Armstrong Caserta Management and Stone, Meyer.

Webb's previous work includes The Final Destination and MTV's Teen Wolf. She's repped by Innovative Artists, Principato-Young Entertainment and Bloom Hergott.

Coffey appeared on The CW's The Originals and ABC Family's Pretty Little Liars. He's repped by Pakula/King & Associates and New Wave Entertainment.

Haley is a special favorite of mine ever since I laid my eyes on her in The Final Destination. Achieved mini prominence thanks to recent stint in Teen Wolf. Haley is reportedly a nudity dodger and so far I haven't seen any evidence to disprove it. She's been in the biz for almost a decade without making much of an impact unfortunately. She's talented and her ability to emote (cry on cue) is amazing. A stage artist back in home state, L.A is now her permanent base. Perhaps she will change her mind on T-and-A with big 3-0 just around the corner, starting with this flick. My gut feeling and hard on for Haley suggest she's ready for her nudity close up.
