Elizabeth Olsen: No Nudity Anytime Soon

Elizabeth Olsen excited for marriage

Elizabeth Olsen has opened up about her engagement to actor Boyd Holbrook for the first time.

The 25-year-old actress has been dating fellow screen star Boyd Holbrook since 2012 and in March this year they announced they were planning to tie the knot. Rather than working herself up about the wedding ceremony, Elizabeth is taking things in her stride.

"I'm relaxed about it, but I am excited and planning ideas because it's fun - It's just like throwing a party to celebrate life. I love being in a relationship a lot," she smiled to the latest edition of UK's Marie Claire magazine.

The news that Boyd had proposed came just shortly after Elizabeth's older sister Mary-Kate, 27, announced her engagement to Olivier Sarkozy. But it looks like joint nuptials aren't on the cards for the famous siblings.

"No, I just told her she gets to pick a date first!" Elizabeth laughed.

Elizabeth's sisters Mary-Kate and Ashley became massive stars at a very young age when they worked on poplar '90s show Full House. They've gone on to build a successful fashion empire, but the whole family remains humble.

"Because my sisters were so grounded, it helped me be grounded. They never got caught up in things. I did live a charmed life," Elizabeth admitted.

"We got to go on vacations and lived in nice homes and I got to play club volleyball and ballet, which you don't realise as a kid are expensive. My mom would say things like, 'Lizzie, we are not the Rockefellers!' That put things into perspective."

Indie drama Martha Marcy May Marlene garnered worldwide attention for the star in 2011, when she portrayed a young woman caught up in a cult. She's now starring in huge flicks such as Godzilla and Avengers: Age of Ultron.

While she's excited about her diverse career, Elizabeth is adamant she won't be accepting roles with nudity anytime soon.

"I don't want to be known for that. I'm keeping my clothes on for a couple of years," she firmly stated.

"I've noticed that if you're a young actress and you're about to make your first movie where you show your boob or butt, it's an epic moment in your life, like, 'I finally did nudity!' If you don't have that stigma, then it's not a big deal."
