Conceptual Photographer Uses Nude Bodies For Photo Paintings
Body painter, Trina Merry, works with human bodies to assemble a temple made of people in order to raise support and awareness for “Beyond the Four Walls”. Beyond the Four Walls is trying to increase women’s life expectancy in Nepal, where women work hard labor and are often sold into slavery.
Artist Trina Merry, 34, from New York, NY created a living temple out of seventeen naked circus performers and dancers to raise awareness for "Beyond the Four Walls".
Nepal is the only country in the world where a woman’s life expectancy is less than a man’s.
Trina’s goal is for her work to always warrant a double take. Generally the average time people look at a piece of art is seven seconds, but with Trina’s creative pieces using humans, she hopes for people to slow down and connect with the artwork.
See how Trina and her team put together this amazing piece.
