'Getting naked was challenging': Dylan Penn

After turning down Playboy, the acting heiress poses for her first cover shoot, which was captured by photographer Tony Duran. Penn will grace the cover of Treats! Magazine, on stands April 8. See the exclusive photos here.

Dylan Penn, the striking 22-year-old daughter of Oscar-winning actor Sean Penn and House of Cards’ Robin Wright, will be gracing the cover of the 7th issue of Treats! Magazine, an arts quarterly. After turning down offers from Playboy and others, the model stripped down for a risqué photo shoot with famed photographer Tony Duran.
“I have always loved [Tony’s] black and white nudes, they were always so tastefully done and, more specifically, showed that certain elegant yet strong beauty that I think all women embody,” Penn tells Treats!

A tomboy at heart, Duran calls Penn a future “beauty icon,” and various tabloid publications have linked the young woman to Robert Pattinson, the 27-year-old Twilight star.

The famous offspring of actors are all the rage these days. Penn's emergence comes in the wake of Dakota Johnson, the talented daughter of actors Don Johnson and Melanie Griffith, who will soon become a global star for her portrayal of Anastasia Steele in the upcoming film adaptation Fifty Shades of Grey. The trend is nothing new, of course. Many actresses have followed in the footsteps of their actor-parents, from Angelina Jolie to Miley Cyrus.
As far as following in her parent’s footsteps goes, Penn is a bit on the fence.

“I'm trying out this whole acting thing...it's hard to say for me because I've rejected it my whole life until now,” she tells Treats! “I literally can't say it without laughing. My truest passion is writing so I continue to do that on my own while seeing what all the buzz is about being in front of the camera.”
She adds: “I start my first movie at the end of the month [Condemned] with Eli Morgan Gesner who I cannot wait to work with. I swore I would never do a horror film but when I read the script and met him I couldn't resist, it just seemed like it would be so much fun to make and I really wanted my first experience to be just that… plus, three weeks in New York...in the spring...and getting paid for it?! Fuck yes!”
