Slow day and it's the weekend so...My Favorite Mash-Ups and Remix

Caught the show when I was in England for couple of weeks. My dad was on business trip at that time. Always loved the opening theme and the two lead - British own Steve McQueen(s). Nifty series too.

One of my favorite movie composers and truly a great among the select few: Jerry Goldsmith. It's said Jerry can create a tune out of a garbage can. He was most well-known for - and arguably its greatest contributor - the action genre.
Two of my personal favs:

Ripe for remake or rather new adaption for Cinemax? Joel Grey was magnificent. So was the score by Craig Safan.

Beautiful and haunting. The music and the movie.

One of the those background music that elevates an average flick and makes it a worthwhile watch. Not forgetting that Scottish brogue : )

FOTR put John Williams on the map and on one supremely talented Ohio kid's radar.

My all time favorite Western. Watch out for young Lee Van Cleef : ) Harrison Ford pays tribute to his hero Gary Cooper in all his movies. You just have to find the clues. Some are easy, others are subtle. High Noon should have won the Oscar for Best Pic but even then there was moronic voters who thought the deadly bore fest The Greatest Show on Earth deserved it more.
