My Favorite Mash-Ups, Remix & Movie Scores

Roger
Slow day and it's the weekend so...My Favorite Mash-Ups and Remix

Ben E King / The Police ::: Stand By Me (Mash up)

Take Me On The Crazy Train (Ozzy Osbourne vs. a-ha) Mashup

Sad But Superstitious (Stevie Wonder vs Metallica Mashup by Wax Audio)

Elvis Presley Kiss Me Quick Remix

IMPERIAL MARCH (LEVIATHAN MIX)

The Professionals Theme

Roger
Caught the show when I was in England for couple of weeks. My dad was on business trip at that time. Always loved the opening theme and the two lead - British own Steve McQueen(s). Nifty series too.

Roger
One of my favorite movie composers and truly a great among the select few: Jerry Goldsmith.  It's said Jerry can create a tune out of a garbage can. He was most well-known for - and arguably its greatest contributor - the action genre.
Two of my personal favs:
Breakheart Pass (Charles Bronson underrated vehicle. So many good moments but the thing I remembered most beside the score  was how much he was in love with Jill).
Rambo 2 (opening theme set the tone for the rest of the movie. Pity the flick is seriously outdated now. Christ, even Commando is holding up compared to Sly signature actioner).

Jerry Goldsmith - Breakheart Pass (Main Title and Reunited / End Credits)

RAMBO 2 Movie soundtrack. Track 1 of 21 MAIN TITLE

Remo Williams - Main Theme

Roger
Ripe for remake or rather new adaption for Cinemax? Joel Grey was magnificent. So was the score by Craig Safan.

Philip Glass - The Illusionist Main Theme

Roger
Beautiful and haunting. The music and the movie.

Randy Edelman - Dragonheart

Roger
One of the those background music that elevates an average flick and makes it a worthwhile watch. Not forgetting that Scottish brogue : )

Fiddler On The Roof - 'Finale'

Roger
FOTR put John Williams on the map and on one supremely talented Ohio kid's radar.

Dimitri Tiomkin - High Noon

Roger
My all time favorite Western. Watch out for young Lee Van Cleef : ) Harrison Ford pays tribute to his hero Gary Cooper in all his movies. You just have to find the clues. Some are easy, others are subtle. High Noon should have won the Oscar for Best Pic but even then there was moronic voters who thought the deadly bore fest The Greatest Show on Earth deserved it more.
